Emails will be automatically generated for an applicant when their Applicant Status value is updated to a value that has been configured to send emails on status change, i.e. if the selected Applicant Status has the 'Email Template after status change' indicator enabled.

To configure this, follow the steps below:
From the Recruitment Dashboard navigate to the My Recruitment Toolbox widget.
OPEN Applicant Status.
For the required applicant status expand the 3-dot menu and select Status Details.
Turn On the Email Template after status change toggle and click OK.
Click Save to capture changes.
To configure the template, for the applicant status, expand the 3-dot menu and select Email Template.
Configure the template and click Save.
NOTE: The feature to send an email is only available when the Applicant Status is changed on the View Applicants screen for a single applicant, i.e. emails will not generate when Applicant Status is updated on any other screen in Recruitment e.g. the Bulk Update screen, Interview Panel (this will not work for hiring managers from the Manager Dashboard), Schedules, Assign Applicants, etc.

To generate an email notification, follow the steps below:
From the Recruitment Dashboard navigate to the Vacancies widget.
For the applicable vacancy expand Actions and select View Applicants.
To update an applicant's status, expand their 3 dot menu and select Edit Status.
Update the status and click OK.
The Email Template window will appear automatically where the applicant's email address will be updated to reflect the candidate's actual email address, as per their application.
From here you can update the subject or message body and use the Attachment button to attach a document, if required.
Click Send.
