Cause 1: E-Recruitment Web Parameters not configured correctly for the Forget Password option
Cause 2: Email has been sent. Email is being filtered by the client's email
Cause 3: Applicant has two email addresses associated with their Applicant ID. Email will not fire unless the correct email address is entered
Cause 4: The Recruitment account associated with the applicant's email address doesn't exist
Resolution 1:
In Back Office select CorePersonnel, Recruitment, Recruitment Reference, E-Recruitment Web Parameters, Email Parameters tab
Ensure that the Reset Password parameter is not blank
If blank - go to Details and Enter Reset Password in the Email Subject and enter in Email Body
Resolution 2:
Check the spam folder of your email client
If this is the case then navigate to the below screen:
Portal
Go to Data Centre and click View All
Search for EMS Parameter Maintenance and open it
Back Office
Go to CoreHR
Click CoreHR dropdown
Select Event Management, then EMS Parameter Maintenance
Ensure that the contents of the EMS Username field match that of the Administrator Email field. It should be [email protected] for both fields.
Resolution 3:
If the above two do not resolve the issue, Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
Resolution 4:
Advise the applicant to try to register a new account with the email address they are trying to reset the password for
