The Volcanic Custom Mapping option, within My Recruit Toolbox, allows you to determine which fields are sent to Volcanic as custom fields. For example, you may wish to use this to automatically set which Volcanic application form is used for each vacancy.
A maximum of 5 custom fields are included in the integration
Any of the hierarchy fields plus a new ‘Recruitment Custom’ field can be selected
For migrating customers who already use the old custom fields, which were fixed, the new screen can be used to choose what fields they use for the integration.
To use the job advert custom fields, you will need to:
Add the reference data in PeopleXD (People Management > Reference Data > Recruitment Custom Data)
Ensure the same custom categories exist in Volcanic

When creating an application form in Volcanic you can link it to the custom field from PeopleXD. To do this, set the usage conditions on an application form in Volcanic to ‘Custom Category Options’
To enable Volcanic Custom Mapping option and the Job Advert Field Configuration screen, the following menu options need to be enabled on the relevant User profile:
